nethack-360-win-x86-2.zip

NetHack 3.6.0 for Windows. Contains NetHackW.exe (graphical interface) and NetHack.exe (tty interface).

You must EXTRACT ALL FILES from the ZIP archive before running the game, otherwise you will get this error: Cannot open dungeon description - "dungeon"!

Do not move or copy the EXE files out of the game folder; create shortcuts instead.

Mac OS X

NetHack-360-mac-Term02.pkg

NetHack 3.6.0 for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and later. This is a very traditional NetHack that runs in text mode from the command line or from Finder.

Mount this image to start the installer. Files are placed under /usr/local/games and /Applications.

NetHack 3.6.0 source release (static snapshot).

The NetHack source code can also be acquired via our git repository.
